When you come to visit us at The Catskill Mountain Country Store remember to visit the animals. They love company. We have chickens, turkeys, pigs, mini horses, sheep, goats, and bunnies. Our newest additions are the baby bunnies and" Lily the Philly", a baby miniature horse, born April 2, 2004.
We have adopted most of our animals from the local shelter or from people who could no longer care for their animals. Our pot belly pigs, Pricilla 7 years old, and Daisy 6 years old , both came from the Columbia-Greene Humane Society. They are very happy and plump living off the scraps from our restaurant . Our mini horses love when visitors feed them grass. Their names are Lovey and Racoon. And don't forget their baby" Lily the Philly"
The animals are looking forward to your visit. And please remember to treat animals with love and care.
